Reiki is a wonderful therapy for animals as most animals are very receptive to its healing energy.  Just like humans, animals can become ill from stress, anxiety, abuse or may be in transition from cancer or have other ailments.  Reiki has been proven to help with pain and as a treatment for other stressful situations.  As Reiki energy can be given by direct touch or sent by distance, its therapeutic benefits can reach any animal whether domesticated or wild.
